My two friends have been planning on getting a one way ticket to NZ and traveling abroad to other countries for 4 months, bringing nothing but $7000 with them. I’ve been contemplating joining them because I feel as though it would be a great life experience for me. Is it even possible to do this on $7000? We’re going to be taking odd jobs here and there for extra income, couch surfing, staying in hostels, etc... I really want to go but I’m afraid that I’d run out of money if it’s hard to find extra income while abroad. If anyone here has any experience staying frugal and traveling, are there any pointers you have for someone as inexperienced as I am??
