Hello everyone,
So I’m going to be in Europe from June 9th to the 18th.
I will be in Florence at 11AM on the 9th. Will take a train to Rome whatever number of days later (~2HR30MIN) then fly to Athens whatever number of days later.(~2HR).
Will be flying home from Athens at noon on the 18th.
My question is how many days to split between all three cities to do all the touristy stuff.
Florence:
-Duomo Cathedral, climb to the top.
-Galleria del Accademia
-Piazzale Michaelangelo
-Half day to Pisa
-Santa Croce
-Maybe Galileo and da Vinci Museums
Rome:
-Day trip to Pompeii
-Colosseum
-Pantheon
-Forum
-Trevi Fountain
-Spanish Steps
-Vatican City (Taking my catholic mom so any tips to increase our chances to catch a glimpse of the Pope are appreciated!)
Athens:
-Acropolis
-Parthenon
-Plaka
These are the things I’m definitely trying to see. Also open to suggestions of things that I shouldn’t miss and good food that is near landmarks that isn’t hard to find. Maybe any tours that are convenient or cool. Just basically anything that you enjoy about these three cities. I would really appreciate it.
Thank you for all your help.
