Cross Border Xpress at Tijuana/San Diego & the Cuba question

Post Body

So the Cross Border Xpress is the new pedestrian bridge connecting San Diego to the Tijuana airport, and opened in December. Tijuana airport has always offered flights to Havana, but the new bridge method of getting there while convienent, has me concerned. I read that to cross the bridge, you need to provide proof of your airline ticket. I am not sure of any changes in the customs process. My concern is arriving at the bridge ticketed for Tijuana to Havana, and then being questioned or even not allowed to cross.

Has anyone here used the bridge yet and if so what was your inbound/outbound experience? Thank you for any contributions. And if you're just now learning about the bridge, cool isn't it!?
