Travel in June/July - We were thinking SE Asia, but because of Monsoon season we are now thinking Europe. R/Travel what are your thoughts?
Post Body

Hi R/Travel - we were thinking of taking a trip to Thailand to Bangkok, Chang Mai, and Koh Samui (throwing in a lay over in Singapore), and then heading to Indonesia for a few days. However I noticed that during June/July the Monsoon season is in swing and it would be raining everyday almost. Does this really hamper plans in the region during this time of year? Our Plan B was going to France - visit Paris, then go to Monaco (French Riviera), and some country side vineyards, finally try to go to Norway or something and visit some glaciers. I know during June/July Europe will be packed with tourists, especially France. We have done italy and greece in the past as well. Any thoughts or comments Reddit?
