Traveling through Shanghai: visa

Hi. I’m currently in Sydney and will be travelling to Copenhagen in April. I’ll be going through Shanghai, PVG.

The trip:

SYD-PVG April 2nd. I’ll be landing 1820 April 2nd.

PVG-CPH April 3rd. I’ll be taking a flight that leaves from PVG at 23:00 April 3rd.

I’ve got a Norwegian passport. If I’ve read it correctly I don’t need a visa, because I’ll be staying less than 144 hours. I’ve got around a 28 hour layover.

Have I understood this correctly? I’m so afraid of not understanding it correctly.
