Denmark, Latvia, Norway, and Poland each allow Americans to visit for an extra three months visa-free. Could one travel within Europe for a year this way?

Iโ€™m not sure how to find a solid answer to this โ€” but, hypothetically speaking, if an American traveled to these four countries, could they stay in Europe for over a year, including the initial 90 days of visa free travel to the Schengen area?

Other nationalities including Malaysians, Singaporeans, Argentinians, Chileans, Canadians, South Koreans, etc. have similar agreements with a handful of European countries too. You can check the Wikipedia page titled Visa policy of the Schengen Area for an overview.

And does anyone know how this would affect your 180 day โ€œresetโ€ for the Schengen zone? Iโ€™d like to hear your experience using these extensions please.
