visa question: US ESTA vs History of Entry to Russia; My nationality is Japanese

Post Body

Hi.

I'm thinking of visiting Russia(Vladivostok or somewhere else) for satisfying my curiosity.

However, as you know, we Japanese people are thought to belong to the western bloc, and are also supposed to behave ourselves as such.

That is, if I should visit Russia for a purpose, the entry record would prevent me from entering the US for any purpose like tourism and business, especially there could come the risk of being denied an ESTA admission.

As you know, those who have the experience of visiting the North Korea, Iran, and Syria are deprived of getting granted an ESTA admission, and they have to attend a meeting for the Visa at a near US embassy.

I also want to visit the US territories(like Hawaii and the mainland), and any other western countries too, so I wonder what my trip to Russia could bring about to my ESTA admission.
