Visiting Canada with Dismissed Resisting Arrest Charge from 1996?

I've been told that going to Canada with any sort of charge on your record is a no-go. I get it.

I have a clean record other than a dismissed resisting arrest charge from college in 1996. Long story very short, I was sitting in a chaise lounge chair in my front lawn (college town) and the police showed up to bust a party at the house next door. They tried to arrest me for no reason (I was not drinking and was not affiliated with the party) so I locked myself in the cellar and called 911, telling them that the police were tried to illegally abduct me. The police left, but came back later in the afternoon and arrested me.

A law professor who I knew got the entire thing dismissed at arraignment, but there is still a paper trail.

I'm just curious if I'll be banned entry into Canada.
