Effectrix/Gross Beat spills over, how to cut out the sound?

So if I have three different melodies going at once. I want on the next bar to have two with gross beat 1/2 speed and effectrix cut the sound immidiately. Instead it leaks over to half of the next bar with the 3rd melody that I have going?
How do I make it so the preset stops instantly and doesn't spill over?
