Listening to my voice practice recordings makes me want to cry. How do I get through this?

My voice is the thing that gives me the most dysphoria, so I know it's what I have to spend a lot of effort fixing. My voice coach told me that listening to recordings was the next thing I should work on, but every time I try to do that, I just get upset and avoidant. I feel like I'm wasting her time and mine and I don't know what to do to fix my aversion to practice.
