I’m a detrans female who is saving for vocal feminization surgery and will be saving for the next 2 years. but I want to know if it’s stupid of me to even be saving for that. Can y’all listen to my voice and let me know?

Post Body

My job is decent and i live below my means, so I can likely raise the money for the procedure within the next 1-2 years depending on the exact price I would get quoted at, and other factors.

But before I get my mind set on that surgery, I’m just curious if you guys think it’s a good or bad idea for me to save for this surgery. Plz listen to my natural and my “more feminine” voice and let me know if you think surgery is not necessary here or what.

The reason I want surgery is because pre-T I literally put forth zero effort and my voice sounded feminine. But now, I have to put effort to sound feminine and I rlly miss not having to put effort at all. Yes, I know, I’m lazy.

And yes I know all the risks of the surgery. I still would be willing to take the risk tho.

But if you guys think I don’t need this surgery then the money can go elsewhere, like for cosmetic surgeries.
