Hi everyone!

Where do you get your needles and syringes for hormone injection? I've been doing subQ shots with those insulin syringe needle combo and I've been told that one of the things that make it sting so much is using the same needle to puncture the vial and then to puncture my skin. So I wanted to try using different needles for drawing and injecting.

The problem is that literally all the websites I've found charge $15-$20 for shipping only!!

I'm looking for 1mL syringes and 30G needles for the injection. I tried getting in touch with a harm reduction site in New Westminster and they only had 27G needles and 5mL syringes. I was ok with trying the 27G instead of 30G, but for some reason I can't get the 5mL syringe to work, I don't know why, it just doesn't draw anything at all

ps: I do subcutaneous with a really high gauge needle because I have an irrational fear of injections and this is the only one I can handle well enough
