Can I still get a surgery referral without having a primary care provider?
Post Body

I’m on a waitlist for a NP, and I was planing on getting the Surgical Readiness Assessment done via private pay to speed up the process a little. But then how would I get the surgery referral forms sent to TransCare?

Also, does anyone know of clinics currently accepting new patients in metro Vancouver? Or maybe even a walk-in where the doctor is ok with doing this referral? I’m in New Westminster, but I don’t care that much about location as long as it’s accessible by public transit.
