Background: I was a bad student in high school, I took hard classes but didn’t put in effort into them sunscreen I didn’t plan on going to college and then I had a heart transplant my senior year.
I’ve been going to college for three years now and unfortunately working part time until this year as I’m now a full time employee.
I don’t have shit for scholarships because on paper I’m not worth anyones time and my parents are only going to pay for school for two more years. I certainly won’t be able to graduate by then and I don’t get paid enough to go to school full time on my own.
Between all the issues of transplants and living in the hell that is the USA, is it a realistic goal to finish college?
Im at a junior status but I struggle immensely with the work load and I live on my own.
Should I quit my job and find a new career that doesn’t require a degree or what?
I honestly don’t know what to do anymore and the longer I live with my condition, the more I regret ever making the decision to get a new heart.
