My name is Shawn, I want to try to learn Japanese and thought I would start with my name. Usually the translation comes out as ショーン using the English to Japanese translators online.
Sometimes this translates as Shōn, Shoon, or Sean underneath the characters, but if I try and enter ショーン in the Japanese to English translator it comes out as Xiang, Shiyoso, Chauso, Sean, etc., even if I copy and paste or try to use the drawing pad and I'm careful with angles and pen stroke.
I thought starting with my name would be a great intro, but I'm having a hell of a time. Any help would be appreciated.
