Due to cost, need for flexibility, and other reasons some cities are implementing branded circulators to help visitors, residents, and workers move around downtowns, campuses, and other districts. In my experience these services get less attention than streetcars. people movers, and other rail transit.
Fort Worth recently added the Orange Line connecting Downtown to the Stockyards. The Tech Trolley in Atlanta, connecting MARTA Midtown station to Tech Square and the heart of campus, is another example that comes to mind. The DC Circulator is another example which is being discontinued.
What are some other examples of bus circulator routes? What are best practices or features that have made routes successful (or a failure)?
