Just had a sureal experience. Went to a gun show here in Texas which I know is hostile territory so not unexpected. Anyway I'm shopping around and everyone is polite everyone wants to chat me up trying to make that sale and I purchase a few accessories for my existing weapon. One of the salesmen had a Futurama ring tone and I comment that I like Futurama as well he then proceeds into antitrans rhetoric all the while property gendering me and offering me pointers and tell me that women like me need to keep alert and be safe because of all the "men" pretending to be women.. validating and infuriating at the same time. Anyway it definitely solidified my resolve to arm and protect myself. What a day🤪
