Where are the photos?
Photos are posted on the private surgery facebook group, in addition to the private selfietrain subreddit. I apologise for them not being available publically, but I have aspirations of going stealth one day and prefer to keep my reddit account private and have therefore only shared them in vetted groups.

My FFS journey
3 surgeries, 2 surgeons, $30k all up

1. Double Jaw Surgery feminising genioplasty
2. Brow reduction, hairline lowering, eyebrow lift
3. Rhinoplasty I'm very happy with all of the results and below is my write up with a concluding statement to follow.

Double Jaw Surgery  Genioplasty (Joseph Gunn)
DJS was completed alongside feminising genioplasty which fixed my recessed jaw and rounded my chin. I was Dr Gunn's first trans patient, and was lucky to only be charged $1000 for the additional feminising genioplasty, on top of the DJS. Unfortunately, one of the screws got infected and I had to have a revision surgery, which was completed at minimal cost. The recovery from double surgery is nothing short of hellish, and I regretted it initially. Six weeks of liquid only diet, I vomited blood for two weeks straight, and it took seven weeks for me to be able to get out of bed. In order to better focus on my difficult neuroscience class I was taking, I decided not to take pain killers one day, and I ended up halluciniating because of how intense the pain was. This surgery also relieved my sleep apnoea, I no longer use a CPAP device when sleeping.

Brow Reduction, Hairline Lowering, Brow Lift (Alan Breidahl)
Type 3; hairline incision, bandages were off within a week. I had thin bone so as much was removed as possible and a mesh was installed to add support. Easy recovery! Scars healed within a few months and are invisible now.

Rhinoplasty
The photos associated with this writeup were taken at about 2 months post rhinoplasty, so some swelling was stilling present. Not breathing through my nose was annoying during recovery, but the pain was minimal. Lots of big boogers after the splints are removed though, look out! I can now breathe through my nose much better.

Concluding notes
I am very happy with all of my results and will continute to reccomend Alan Breidahl as a local option. He helped me get as much private and medicare coverage as possible. My recovery was also made possible by my lovely mother who was at my side during the hardest moments of my DJS recovery. I typically wear my hair a little differently from the photos and wear makeup, but it is tied up and no makeup used in order to better show the results. Please forgive my unfortunate fashion choices in the before pics haha! I will note that I was initially very dissapointed in my results, and it took a fair few months to be happy. This is common for many surgeries, so if you ever find yourself in this same spot, stay strong.
