asking GPs about private transition

hi so I'm hoping to transition privately through gendercare because frankly fuck waiting half a decade for a first appointment but I wanted to ask with things like asking your GP whether they will agree to do a shared care agreement and asking about blood tests is there a way of contacting your GP e.g. via email or do you have to book an appointment solely to ask them in person?
