Fluctuations in HRT

Does anyone know of HRT ever being purposely fluctuated so as to more closely replicate the Oestrogen levels of a cis female cycle?
I was wondering earlier if this was a thing, might this yield better developmental results in secondary sex characteristics as levels would be closer to nature throughout the life of a MtF trans woman. Obviously you can’t fight age but it’s just a question my mind came up with haha.
