What would the nhs do if they found out I started self medicating whilst I was waiting for my appointment ?

So about 20 minutes ago I just got my first appointment in the post , it’s in may next year (2019) but I’ve just started self medicating until the nhs prescribeds me with hormones , what will they do if they found out or if I told them ? I have to send 5 blood tests to them as soon as possible..
