Most accepting cities/towns?
Post Body

Hi all,

My little family is planning a cross-country move. We currently live on the South Coast and are wanting to head for the Northern parts of England.

My question to you is, from your experiences, what areas are going to be the most accepting/inclusive?

My wife is currently recieving hormones from her GP to bridge the gap while she waits to get through the local GIC waitlist (still got a long way to go). So we would want to be able to move somewhere where a GP would be open to offering the same treatment. And anywhere that's going to offer actual LGBT support would be amazing, there's virtually nothing where we currently live.

On top of that we have a small child whose going to be starting school in 2026 (and is on a waitlist for an autism assessment) so bonus points if you know good areas for schools!

Overall, where just looking for a better quality of life where we can be ourselves, make friends and raise our family in a safe/happy environment.

Thanks for reading :) 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈
