I’ve just started a new job and they are being awkward about taking three days off.. let me explain..

From wales the bus to hull leaves at 12:50 pm getting to hull 1:20 in the morning (Monday) Tuesday my appointments at 11am ~ booking into hotel at 3:30 pm Wednesday my bus leaves at 9:50 am getting to wales at 7:30 in the night.

Due to fact I couldn’t go or come back same day- Birmingham to hull or Birmingham to wales. On the Tuesday I miss the bus by an hour so I have no choice but to get a hotel..

This has cost me 110£ with amendable bookings. Not including my taxi fare and bus fair and food. Which is reasonable… albeit..

My work days are supposed to be Fri,sat,sun,mon with tue,wed,thu off..

Instead they have booked me in for mon, wed,Fri,sat,sun but I think the ROTA is due a change every week ish when they were suppose to be set days. My contact upholds that they can set any day..

I’ve been looking for a job while on disability benefits including working self employed.. but nothing has worked out.. so instead I been trying last three years to get a job that is understanding… I had a job 1.5 ago but quit it due to a few reasons.. I don’t want to quit this job.. even tho I’m dysphoric- my chest is very small and not noticeable so I’m not trying to hide it even with putting on weight. I use to be so flat only my nipples needed resizing- now I’ve put on weight I’m not as flush as I use to be- I’m hoping to lose weight the next year or so ( on diet) but much of this is due to my medication!

Anyway… there’s a few reasons I could delay for another year smoking, job, - if I can’t get time if I’m not going to sacrifice my job when I’m only at consolation stage~ getting a referral will just be the case of calling up Cardiff gender team and requesting an appointment to be referred?? Right??

I probably would wait a year until I’ve accrued leave and book it then. Prob request referral about may- and get consolation about July /aug.

Has anyone had to reschedule surgery??

I’m disappointed because it takes me further back than anticipated and I’ve waited ten years for this… But I don’t see them okaying with not accruing leave?? Especially starting half way through the year?? Regards
