I had appointment back in nov and I told Wilson that I was with gender gp- he had sent me appointment 21march with doctor that prescribes T(but he had sent my local gp a letter to prescribe for me so I didn’t had to pay gp gender) they didn’t do this - they didn’t even contact me- however the doctor called to move the video appointment to today. And said 50mg sashes every day. (3pumps) I’m currently on two with gender gp.
She is sending me out the prescription to pick up at local chemist and bloods and another appointment in three months to check my levels and put the prescription on my local gp repeat.
She’s given me three months supply…
I’m so happy.
Mostly because the nhs will do my bloods- I got to the point with gp gender that the private clinic wouldn’t do them because I was to hard to draw from. And even with reduced costs it was all amounting up.
I have my appointment may 2nd to be referred for chest surgery..
I need to start losing weight so my bmi is healthy so they can operate.. I need to shift a couple kgs. Since putting on weight from the Depo for my mental health.
Really this is good news.
I had some problems getting into the video room with link and code on letter but I called the number on the letter- got through to someone and they sent me the link via email, all in time with minutes to spare!!
The doctor said I should cancel gp gender as soon as possible!! Although with their new system I’m only able to cancel my repeat prescription not cancel anything else with them- they don’t have email communication no more so I’m unable to tell them- although they’ll probably gather that with not requesting prescription or something!!
I’ve just put in for my treatment review. So hopefully there will be some form of email communication with that- so I can inform them!!
Don’t give up. This been over a decade in the waiting…
