Decapeptyl woes
Post Body

I started Decapeptyl 2 months ago. previously i was on 250mcg Estradot and daily Finasteride 5mg. When i started Deca i also had a course of Cyproterone 50mg for 2 weeks.

My levels were 490 for E and 0.8 for T. I was moved to Deca because fin was causing me to experience Post finasteride syndrome.

Despite the Cypro i still had what i thought to be a T flare. This consisted of an on and off Rage, a massive rise in my libido and an outbreak of acne for the first and second week .

So its been 2 months since and i am currently experiencing another outbreak of acne, im not sure why but i think it may have come from the initial T flare as after my first jab i noticed my skin texture change from smooth to incredibly rough and bumpy which Seems to be from closed comedones and in that same area is where i'm getting the acne.

My mood has also been really temperamental too though i am not sure if this is linked to my skin and being upset about it..

I did see the endo yesterday for a face to face appointment and when i mentioned this to him he said it probably is from the flare i had.

On a side note he also wanted to boost my blood estradiol level to 900 for 9 months to help with breast growth but i would have to switch from patches to gel.. i told him i need to think about it as i've just recently had a massive hormonal change my body is trying to adjust too.

I have a bloodtest this Wednesday to see my levels post Deca.

Reddit, Has this ever happened to you or do you think i am right in my hypothesis?

Thank you!
