I’ve recently started T privately and I’m now starting to think about starting the process of getting on a wait list at the beginning of next year. I’m thinking miles berry of various reasons but if anyone has any recommendations of uk surgeons that would be useful too!! (I’m in West Sussex and can travel a bit but not more than like 2 hours ish)

But I’m really confused on how to start the process? I know I need a referral letter can I get it from the same psychiatrist who did my gender dysphoria assessment? (Dr Lorimer at gender care) or does it have to be another opinion. And do I need a second referral I’ve seen different things in different places?

Once I have this then do I make an enquiry or do I have to have enquired before getting the referral?

Then what happens? Do I wait months then have my assessment then wait again for the actual date or do I have the assessment soonish then wait ages for the date

I’m so confused if anyone can break it down for me that would be really helpful :))
