To Open or Not To Open?

I picked up an unopened, 2001 RID Sideburn after experiencing massive disappointment with the Legacy Sideburn figure.
This guy shipped all the way from Canadia and it looks amazing in packaging that includes French flavor text (French!!).
I have no sealed figures in my collction as I like to play with my toys, but almost feel like I need permission to open it though lol
What say you? Would you open it and enjoy childhood reclaimed or keep it sealed?
