Morning Meditation is Less Satisfying

Every morning I wake up at 4:30, brush my teeth, wash my face, set up a cozy nest, and meditate. Itโs good, but never as deep as my evening meditation. I tend to think itโs because my brain is still somewhere between asleep and awake. Ideally, I feel like I would wait an hour or two in the morning beforehand, but that would never work with my schedule. Does anyone else share this issue or have any advice to offer?
