I recently, as of earlier this year, came out as transgender (MtF) and have been back and forth in name changing for a while. I have a neutral first name that is okay, but lately I've been feeling and trying out Kiara (key-ar-a) and liking it!
It then dawned on me that my name should also probably change, as it gives me some ick feelings just because how it translates; Anderson.
While it's a family name on my dad's side, I also don't like the masc-association with it, not do I think it flows well with Kiara. So tossing a line to the reddit support network for possible ideas or resources on this current dilemma. Thanks ahead of time for listening and responses!
