I'm a cis male with a leaning right winged view; my friend is a mtf who came out a while back (about 2 years), while I don't agree personally, I still support and respect her decision on the subject, calling her by her preferred name, pronouns, and identifying her by her preferred gender; she's my friend after all and no personal views on the subject should change our friendship.
I'm concerned for her mental health on after surgery, she plans to get full Sex Reassignment Surgery, hormone & voice therapy in the upcoming months. Personally, I've seen a lot of post about post trans venting about how they regret their decisions and want to hurt or kill themselves I don't want that to happen to her, I want her to be happy with her decisions and her life. I know a lot of people are happy with their decision of going full reassignment and etc; I just want her to be happy, be comfortable in her body, and not regret a large decision. What should I do to help?
