Should I come out as a trans boy at my school?

Post Body

For context: I currently go to a school where the majority of the kids are not very accepting. Many students make fun of LGBTQ people, but a few people in my class (that I know of) are accepting. I have a upcoming musical at my school that I am taking part in. Since I will be wearing a boys’ costume for the first time, people will definitely ask some questions.

I am wondering if I should come out so I can be myself (while most likely getting made fun of/bullied) or stay in the closet (it would hurt mentally and I would be disappointed/ have regret in myself, but I would not get made fun of). I am quite indecisive, so I thought I would ask you all.

Also: I am graduating from this school in June, so I will be leaving fairly soon.
