Wow after being on hormones for about 7 months mtf. Estrogen is best antidepressant I've ever had. I laugh harder, I can express sadness and empathy. The joy that can be felt from smiling organically is amazing. But it's not all perfect when you sad you feel terrible, my anxiety hits harder and depression is worse as well. Plus since I feel vulnerable in a way. Idk how to explain about it, but I'm more wary and worrisome. Plus when you get mood swings, it's the worse. when I lose control of my emotions and snap from happy to angry to sad to hungry all to regretful, All in 5 secs I feel crazy. I wasn't prepared for this when I started my journey. Like I'm happy to be trans but wow.
