I'M SO PROUD OF MYSELF AND I FEEL SO EUPHORIC! I've been floating on a cloud since last night.

Okay so maybe it wasn't the hardest step to take. She's a friend from school, she's a lesbian, and she has previously studied Gender Studies, and also I have had conversations with her about gender and sexuality. I have not seen her or really heard from her at all since the beginning of the pandemic, and I did it via text message, something like Happy New Year! I hope you're doing great! I just wanted to tell you that hi, I'm Érik. So like, it might not sound like the biggest step to take, but it's my first, and I did it. I did it, all by myself, I managed it, and I'm so fucking proud of myself.

I did it. I took a step. I'm out to someone who knows me irl. I did it, it went well and she was super nice, and now I know it's something that I can do. I'm so proud of myself for doing it.
