A friend just told me that their trans daughter’s doctor (we live in Southern CA) told them yesterday that he is worried he may not be able to continue prescribing Spironolactone with possible impending legal changes for underaged gender affirming care. I (cis woman 36) have offered to drive to Mexico to buy meds if things come to that, but if anyone has any suggestions or tips on buying these meds safely online that would be really helpful. I need to do more research and my friend is also desperately looking for options. This family just moved to CA from a red state specifically to keep their daughter safe, I haven’t known them for very long but I want to be helpful in any way possible. Any info on community resources in Southern CA would also be appreciated, I mentioned Pacific Pride and perhaps looking into trans groups at our local UC for help but this literally happened yesterday and I just found out an hour ago.
