I know it’s a stereotype but why do people assume all trans woman are good at programming?
Post Body

Literally everyone in my family has the attitude of “Your brother understandable computers why don’t you.” And it’s cause they heard trans girls are supposed to be good at coding. I’m like “Ma’am/sir (adults in my found fam are very particular on that) I know history more than my brother. I know how to be economical safe more than my brother, I know how to perform military drill than my brother, I know how to draw a lot better than my brother, and I know how to make music over my brother. How is it that the one thing he has over me that’s needed in this situation is an expectation that I can perform something that btw he’s going to collage for? I can’t even figure out how to set up an emulator on my pc. Like I am a chef. Is he expected to be a chef when he cooks? (Wish someone could help me with that ;-;)
