Learning to walk in heels...

Ladies! Omg, can someone please help me, lol? So, I am trying to learn how to really walk with confidence while wearing heels. I'm not sure if it is just me, the shoe, or what, but does anyone else have an issue of the balls of their feet burning after only 40 seconds of just standing, let alone walking, in heels? Does anyone have a life hack for cushioning these medieval torture devices?? Thanks!
