So long story short I am biologically intersex. I have ovaries and a penis, but I was assigned male at birth. I started transitioning (MtF) a year ago, and I identify as female. My step mom wanted to use the “Oh well men have XY chromosomes and woman have XX chromosomes so you can’t possibly be a woman.” Argument. I then told her again about how I’m intersex. She literally said “well your chromosomes are being mutated from those hormones.” I shut her up when I gave her my Karyotype test that my grandmother had me take around 15 years old cause we noticed I had really feminine features (egg phase). Grandmother agreed not to share the results out of my privacy but I figured fuck it. it was dated 2018 in December. I started medical transition a year ago. I have XXY chromosomes and there’s not a single biology reason her or any transphobe can use to explain that I’m a “male.” But even with that it goes without saying gender isn’t just your chromosomes or genitalia. In short “fuck the transphobes who wanna claim I’m a male due to my chromosomes cause for all intents and purposes I am biologically male and female!
