Wholesome old lady

Post Body

First of all sorry if my English sounds weird, it's not my first language. I just wanted to share a wholesome moment I've had recently. So I was at a random local products shop (they sell merch, but for our city / region). And this old lady asked me for help in a kind of... Mystical way. Actually she was ashamed to ask, but her phone was locked and there was no way for her to unlock it. The shopkeeper and I looked into it and tried to help but sadly couldn't do anything. She seemed kind of lost and confused but mostly ashamed of having to look for help so I reassured her as much as I could.

And there comes the wholesome moment. I knew her name because of the email adresses we tried to use to unlock the phone, and she asked for my first name. I told her my first name, (the one I chose when I came out and that is now on my ID card) and she said ''Aw that's a beautiful name, it suits you well ! Your parents have very good taste in names!"

And I told her without thinking "Actually I chose it myself!"

When she heard that, she said "Well then, you have chosen a great name!"

That was so cute omg. So I told her about my favorite library where you can drink tea as well, and she told me we'd meet there someday :)

(said library is locally owned, small, indie and also super cozy and inclusive, so it's one of my favorite places to hang out)
