I, ftm18, started testosterone, intermuscular injections, back in March of this year. now to preface, I am NOT afraid of needles or have any phobia or issues with needles or blood or anything like that. that is as long as I am not doing it myself since I am not a medical professional. if a nurse of doctor does it, don't care, light work no reaction type thing. however when I do it, it just somehow hurts even worse, I am shaking and nearly crying, about to throw up and it's just a horrible time every single Tuesday that I inject. It's always terrible before I get through that first level of skin. it was easier when my needles were 24g but now it's 18g and it hurts so so bad. any advice anyone has for a quick, less painful thigh inject so I can not cry and shake and stuff would be super super amazingly appreciated. I love that I'm on T and taking shots I feel is best for me, but darnit I need to get over this silly fear of mine
