Thought I was just a CD but. . .

So I started getting in to dressing several years ago and was deep in the CD/sissy space but the more time I spent doing typical "feminine" things, the more I realized that I felt like that was my real self and boy mode is just a fake face I put on. Is this common? I don't know if I'm weird or a lot of people go through this?
