Being trans in a transphobic home.
Post Body

Im still in shock from what I've heard. Washing some dishes and I mentioned how some companies won't carry pride stuff. My mother jumped in and said, "I'm honestly tired of them". I asked what do you mean? Tired of who? She said "I'm tired of the LGBT or what ever community shoving it down our throats and are targeting children." My sister goes on to say how misinformed I've been about trans people and how they shouldn't be targeting children. I argued against that and they started becoming more aggressive and louder in their words trying to cut me down. Eventually I bowed out of the conversation and left... I'm shaking and feel so lost. Almost faint. In California my mother has worked beside people of the LGBTQ community. So hearing this... has just taken me for a whirl.... I honestly don't know what to do. I can't stay here.
