Hey, I’m a trans girl who just recently came out to everyone besides my mama and my friend who is also a trans girl but has been transitioning much longer just today came at me in a friend group proclaiming I’m not trans enough. A little context I came out to my mother two years ago and moved back in January with her to focus on transitioning so only recently I’ve made efforts to start my transition properly, and I mean great lengths, I literally got HRT illegally with help from family. Anyways, I’m quite confident in myself as a woman but I’d be lying if it was a shock for someone I thought was a close friend to invalidate me infront of our friends and then kick me from the group because she couldn’t dish what she served back. Is this normal? Are some trans girls really this toxic that they go behind their sisters’ back for months without saying a word to your face about their concerns on whether you’re serious about your transition or not…. Just in shock luv…
