Title sort of says it all, but basically I (24y/o transfemme) came out recently and it did not go well. I'm currently making plans to move out asap, but am expecting a connected conversation tomorrow which, at the worst-case scenario, might require me to strike it out entirely alone.
If it goes slightly better, and I feel like I can stay living here while I'm looking for a place, it won't be as much of an issue, but I do think there's a possibility that I might just have to just leave and work out the details afterwards (I do have places I can stay short-term if that happens).
Has anyone else been in a similar position, having to start doing things like looking for housing without any parental support? Any advice on how to make it work would be very much appreciated. What would I do if they ask for things like guarantors? I just want to make sure I've got a plan in place if the worst happens.
