Signing To A Label
Post Body

Im a new producer, Ive been producing for 2 months. I was recently given an offer to sign to sign to a new & upcoming label. he's got about 20-25 artists currently signed.

What info should I ask him, or know before we start getting into the actual contract talks?

Ive also heard differing opinions on things, I’ve heard from some to not sign to upcoming labels since it looks bad on a artists "resume" but is that really the case? Would a future label care what labels you actually worked with in the past or no? Or is it grown men can't agree so they make it a "label arguing label" issue instead of themselves to deflect the heat
