Japanese Train Sims
Post Body

So I've gotten into driving Japanese routes after the Keihin-Tohoku line and Tohoku shinkansen have been made available on Steam and after living there and was looking for some other recommendations.

I've tried BVE (Both open and 5/6) so happy to take suggestions and links to good routes. There does seem to be a lot of rather poor content for BVE unfortunately. I cannot for the life of me get the Tohoku shinkansen working on openBVE so any advice here appreciated too.

Basically leaving it to you guys - what do you recommend?

Update: I downloaded Train Crew - this was excellent. It's worth noting that I'm a trained guard on the UK national rail network and I found it very natural to work as a guard in this fictional Japanese setting.

I'm holding out on Running Train Sim but I've joined the discord. It looks excellent though. I also notice that Union Workshop have started development of a Japanese add on for TSW so I'll keep an eye on this space.

Once again, thanks for the recommendations guys - much appreciated as always!!
