I've just joined a running club and have been told about trail shoes in particular. I've looked at some, like karrimor, which look great and are not expensive, but I've learned they're no good for trail running. Is this true? Some brands which have been suggested to me are:
Hoka, Salomon, Brookes, Saucony.
Does it really matter? Any advice appreciated. Thanks
Edit*
Are Karrimor ok for trail running?
I'm wanting a pair specifically for running in the country, in forests, on wet mud, etc. For up to 5k runs.
Also, I've already tried a bunch of them on and they're all equally comfortable to me.
Which are the most durable and last the longest?
I don't want to spend $100 on a pair when a pair for $50 could do the same job.
