So, yeah. Bringing our name ideas here first before naming a child and finding out after was a great idea. Amaya Louise S last name And Liam Afton S last name Are what we’ve come up with after taking everyone’s suggestions on my previous post. Which, wow, I did not expect that to get so much attention, thanks everyone:)

We really liked Amaya, but per suggestion we’ve avoided any nouns as a middle name paired with that.

Liam Afton to avoid double A’s, since the middle name Afton is to honor my Grandfather, and my Great Grandfather that passed a mere 3 days before I was born.

We actually wanted Liam Afton or James Afton, so we rolled dice and Liam won.

Someone mentioned rainbow baby, and while I’m unfamiliar with the term, we would be careful to not compare or in any way cause trauma related to our past miscarriages-it sucked and we grieve, but we’ve enough generational trauma between the both of us that we’re being careful to not pass any of that to our kids. It’s something we’re making a conscious effort of.
