Post Body

So my wife and I, while currently childless, went though two trimesters of pregnancy before miscarriage and so have fully picked out our child’s name whether a boy or girl, and despite the unfortunate miscarriage we’ve decided to name our first child(ren) based on the same names. Question is, [flair]? That is, are the chosen names tragedeighs?

For a Girl, we decided on Amaya Tempest (last name starting with S) for the double storm meaning and also mainly because it sounds pretty.

For a boy we decided on Ayden Afton (same last name obviously) because it sounds nice; however Afton as a middle name is named after my grandfather and will be kept even if it’s a tragedeigh. I’m not super committed to Ayden though, and def open to suggestions there. We also ran every name by my 15 year old brother in law who tried to bully every name till we found names that were hard to bully, and with initials that (hopefully) aren’t terrible.
