My job is literally talking to people for 8-10 hours a day through a headset. My throat was soar every single day after work.

It was like voice training on Dark Soul levels difficulty early on. Took about 6 months where I can do it subconsciously and not sound weird. I didn’t realize it till I heard back my calls, and I didn’t recognize who it was till my supervisor told me it was me.

Totally worth it though. Still going to get a tracheotomy though, as I still have to try a bit. I don’t slip subconsciously in the slightest; but why leave anything to chance.
