Odometer synchronization

I have 2 instrument clusters one having a messed up speedometer and tachometer the other perfectly fine. Both are 1998 and work in the car. However the full working one reads the miles of the parts car it came from on the odometer. Is there any way to sync the odometer to the pcm of the vehicle? I know I can swap the EEPROMs for the odometer however I really don’t want to do that because it would just be a headache.
